Before moving to Sydney, Christian worked for nearly 4 years at R/GA, New York – the Digital Innovation Agency of the Decade. There he was inventing services, platforms and integrated campaigns for brands like Google, MasterCard and Nike. During this time, he was lead Creative Director for the social media campaign of the TV-network A&E’s hit TV Show ‚’Duck Dynasty‘, which under his supervision became the most popular show of the whole network and the most-watched reality show on cable end March 2013.

Christian worked at Crispin, Porter + Bogusky in Boulder/Colorado, USA – one of Advertising Age „Agencies of the Decade“. As his hybrid skill-set was hard to put into one of the traditional job-titles, he officially had been given the job title “Innovative Thunder” (which literally stood on his business card). During this time he was responsible for everything digital/interactive on the Activision/ Guitar Hero account and was also part of the team working on Best Buy’s ‘Twelpforce’ that won the Titanium and Integrated Grand Prix at Cannes.

In the first part of his career, Christian worked in leading positions at Sony Music (Sr.Product Marketing Manager/ A&R) and Warner Music (‘Head of Marketing’ for Dance & Urban), helping artists become pop-culture icons. During this time he was responsible for the marketing, brand strategy, promotion and creative direction of more than 60 Urban, Dance, Pop, Techno, Electro, R&B and Hip Hop artists, bringing nearly each of his artists into the charts with an above average rate hitting the Top 10 Media Control Charts (the equivalent to the US Billboard Charts). One of the highlights during this time was the band „Brooklyn Bounce“ becoming Sony Music/Germany’s most successful domestic artist in 2001 for which Christian received a Gold Record for selling more than 300.000 units.

When the music industry’s downturn started, Christian decided to switch to another industry supported by a Miami Ad School scholarship he received in the year 2003. After he graduated, Christian worked for two and a half years at Jung von Matt, one of the most creative hot-shops in Germany on clients like Mercedes Benz. Then in 2008 he started his journey abroad that gave him the chance to work at influential places like Crispin, Porter + Bogusky, R/GA and Google.
